This burial site on Tyler Point Road, off Rte. 114, near the Barrington River recalls the Revolutionary War’s sole skirmish when a landowner killed a Hessian soldier fleeing the burning of Warren. The graveyard is all that remains of the Baptist Church which once stood nearby.
