DeWolf Tavern
The DeWolf Tavern is beautifully situated in an historically renovated stone warehouse, located on the Thames Street Landing waterfront in Bristol, Rhode Island. Our guests can enjoy the bay breeze with cooling cocktails on our casual patio, dip inside for a glass of wine and a light meal in our Tavern room or head upstairs to enjoy the view and fireplace with a bottle of fine wine and a special meal prepared by Chef Sai.

Chef Sai has created a cuisine that interprets contemporary American cuisine through the flavorful and colorful prism of Indian cuisine. Being solidly rooted in both western and Indian cuisines, Chef Sai combines the ingredients and cooking methods of both with superb focus and intelligence. His dishes are well grounded in technique and have the elegance and boldness of a confident chef. His charcoal tandoor oven-roasted monkfish with baby lentil sauce on a bed of cumin braised swiss chard or his warm duck frissee salad with camembert, pecans, prunes and flaky paratha, dressed in tamarind-port vinaigrette are excellent examples of his creativity.

Drawing on the history of the 1818 c. warehouse's original involvement in the Triangle Trade, The DeWolf Tavern offers a fine collection of rum from the Caribbean and other parts of the world, as well our house cocktail, the Rum Raisin. Our second level plush bar stocks an appealing selection of aged cognac, grappa and single barrel bourbons.
